BONUS UI WORK
Here you will find some other titles I had the privilege of working on alongside some great teams. The capacity in which I was involved varied between graphics and function. Below I will explain my role to each title and what I worked on.
STYLE EXPLORATION
EPISODE + CHAPTER SELECT SCREEN
For this project I was on a short contract and tasked with doing some UI style exploration for game menus. With exception of keeping the UI elements consistent I was given the opportunity to explore any style I wanted. Here is what I came up with.

EPISODE SELECT
The game plays very much like an interactive graphic model with an overall cell shaded style to boot. Based on this I decided to harness the visuals of old horror comics. I wanted our players to feel as if they are flipping through the pages of a comic when navigating through the games episodes and chapters.
CHAPTER SELECT
My thinking behind this concept is to have players navigate through the episodes and chapters via the panels themselves. Episodes are larger images that act like a ‘ image carousel’ housed in larger panels allowing you to drill down. Once inside an episode, chapters are selected by expanding a single panel revealing and lighting up an image. The title of the chapter appears with a play button while the other chapters are pushed back via dark overlay.
ANKI OVERDRIVE APP
APP UI RESKIN
Anki Overdrive is an application for mobile that allows the control of real life toy cars to race on a track. The task at hand with anki was to take their existing Overdrive app and give it a facelift for the Fast & Furious collaboration. Below you will find various screens that display not only the in game controls but corresponding menus that contain information about each race.

CAR CONTROLS
To fit the Fast & Furious style our controls were made to look like they could be apart of a car’s interior. Slightly mechanical looking the metal borders help section off the different controls from each other and create contrast with the subtle leather texture background. We also wanted to feature the selected car while making clear how much health you had during a race.
IN GAME MENUS
There was not much in terms of research for this project, the only direction we had was anything we could pull from The Fate of the Furious movie title. The dark concrete flooring with a cloudy white background was a direct influence from the movie trailer. From there I was able to spawn a few more style choices to fit the UI.
